She talked to Africa Business Communities about the DNA of her startup and the ultimate dream of getting it listed as one of the fortune 500 companies.

What are your company’s unique selling points?

Our ability to be innovative, creative & inspire others with our work.

How has the market responded to your services?

The response has been good, in terms of services, we have done a few business startup kits for small companies, (startup kit includes, logo design, corporate identity manuals, mini marketing strategy and communication manuals

Our new product Nena’s Naija treats which we launched in April 2017 is currently in about 12 supermarkets and this is just the trial stage. We are looking to be in all the big retail chain superstores across Nigeria by December and ultimate outside the country.

We have even started thinking of a distribution model to help empower people who want to start a small business but have limited funds.

What does your company need to grow and prosper?

We need investment as this will go a long way in expanding our business terrain.  Currently i work remotely with team members and employ people on short term contracts to work on projects.  Investment would mean having more people to do work, getting a factory ( as we currently use  a government sponsored incubation center for production of our treats).

We also envision getting equipment, shifting from the current production processes to digitized ones, buying new software and of course attending courses and trainings to update our skills. Ultimately getting funding would mean a higher likelihood of the business surviving.

What is the latest news from your company?

We have created a new line of products called Nena’s Naija treats which is yummy healthy snack range. It comes in attractive resalable, recycle packs. We have package selected Nigerian street food in a more hygienic, attractive packs. The range is pretty new and so are laying the foundations for its growth.
